I Just so happened that i was looking for a fast SDHC Card for my surface pro. Requirements are for my on the go file storage as well as fast transfer speeds read and write. My first option was Sandisk's Extreme microsdxc 64gb card which is rated at 50mbps write and 80mbps read speeds, but then i have to think hard due to its steep price of S$150. Then came along this new S$98 Singapore branded MicroSDXC card with rated 566x read speeds, comes with a nice usb2.0 microsd reader (which looks like a small flashdrive with a microsd slot) and  SD adapter, though nothing was stated in terms of write speed. Fortunately a good staff was there to help me out and get the data from the manufacturer. They stated that write speeds ranges from 2.5mbs to 25mbs.

Therefore the direct competitor should be the sandisk's ultra microsdxc which is rated at 30mbs transfer (read) which cost slightly less at S$90 but with just the card and the sd adapter itself. The staff brag about the Strontium being 100 % tested and lifetime warranty, even heat proof, water, magnet, xray and drop proof, though i wouldn't advice you to try and burn it,unless you want to test their lifetime warranty which didn't actually cover being burnt. So after further scrutiny and within my budget, i bite the bullet.

Now with the testing. Again, the card reader that came with it is a standard usb 2.0, therefore the better way to test it is using a faster sdxc card reader which is from my surface pro. Plug it in and i use HD Tune to check the speeds. and below is the results.

Well, the results where shy of 10mbs @70mbs read and 17mbs write speeds. This aint gonna break any records. I am not yet satisfied so i used another app to test it which is the h2testw and below is the result.

Writing speed: 17.7 MByte/s
Reading speed: 61.4 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4 is the result.

 With similar results with HDtune, at the current price point, its considered as a good alternative from those famous brands like sandisk, transcend and samsung. Though they should just mark it at 70mb/s card read speeds. Write speeds is nothing to brag about, a good class 10 card thats almost around the 20mbs mark. Recommended for those not after a superspeed in terms of writing. Not as fast as the sandisk extreme but much better than the ultra which has only an average speeds of 13mbs.
Not to mention it also came with an android app which is similar to dropbox for free (cost 4bux in playstore). Will test that out on the next review.
